Speakers:

Ashley Jameson shines as a mentor and teacher: since age sixteen, she has polished her leadership skills in ministry with people of all ages. Ashley and her husband have experienced, firsthand, the restoration that Pure Desire offers. In 2013, she introduced and began facilitating PD groups in her church. As the International Groups Coordinator for Pure Desire, Ashley trains new group leaders around the world. She is a contributing author to Unraveled: Managing Love, Sex, and Relationships.

Heather Kolb spent several years as a college professor before joining the Pure Desire team as a speaker, author, and editor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and Master of Science in criminal behavior. Heather is passionate about educating people on the brain and how it contributes to behavior. She co-authored Digital Natives: Raising an Online Generation and Unraveled: Managing Love, Sex, and Relationships.

Nick Stumbo is the Executive Director of Pure Desire and former Lead Pastor at East Hills Alliance Church. Nick earned a bachelor in Pastoral Ministry from Crown College and a Master of Divinity from Bethel University. Nick and his wife, Michelle, have helped many men and women in the church find restoration from brokenness. Nick wrote the books, Setting Us Free and Safe, to help others find help, hope, and healing.

Robert Vander Meer is the Associate Pastor at The Oregon Community and is a Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP) at Pure Desire Ministries. He also is one of the founders of the Oregon Public House, a not-for-profit restaurant. Robert and his wife, Rebecca, are the owners of Woodlawn Swap ‘n Play, a community- focused play space. They live in community and care deeply about being vulnerable and visible to others.

Experts:

Ben Bennett currently serves with Josh McDowell Ministry as an author, speaker, and the Director of The Resolution Movement-a new national initiative helping youth overcome hurts, unwanted behaviors, and live a thriving life. Ben co-authored Living Free, a resource to help young men find freedom from unwanted sexual behavior. He holds a bachelor’s degree in art and visual technology from George Mason University. He resides in Dallas, Texas, and enjoys traveling, music, and investing in his relationships.

Jay Stringer is a licensed mental health counselor, ordained minister, and author of the award-winning book Unwanted: How Sexual Brokenness Reveals Our Way to Healing. He holds an MDiv and master in counseling psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. He received post-graduate training under Dr. Dan Allender as a Senior Fellow at the Allender  Center.  His passion is to equip the church with resources to change the conversation on sexual brokenness. Jay and his wife have two children and live in New York, New York.

Dr. Juli Slattery is a clinical psychologist, author, speaker, and the  president/co-founder of Authentic Intimacy–a ministry devoted to reclaiming God’s design for sexuality. Juli earned her college degree at Wheaton College, an MA in psychology from Biola University, and an MS and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. Juli is the author of ten books, including Rethinking Sexuality. She is also the host of the weekly podcast “Java with Juli.” Juli and her husband Mike have three sons and they live in Akron, Ohio.

Mo Isom is a New York Times Best-Selling author and speaker who is a part of BOLDLIFE INITIATIVE, a ministry that exists to challenge, encourage, and equip Christ followers to relentlessly pursue holy and BOLD lives. She is the author of Sex, Jesus, And The Conversations The Church Forgot and the New York Times Best-Seller Wreck My Life. She uses her degree in Mass  communication from LSU to support her passion in courageously communicating the full Gospel with raw authenticity, compassion, and fresh revelation. Mo and her husband live in Atlanta, Georgia with their three children.
